DISASTER & DOMESTIC VIOLENCE:
Toolkit For Emergency Responders
The tools below were developed in collaboration with the National Domestic Violence Hotline, the New Jersey Coalition for Battered Women, and the Florida Coalition Against Domestic Violence. The joint efforts of our organizations created these comprehensive materials for disaster responders to build their knowledge and capacity to support survivors of domestic violence in times of disaster. They serve as tools for agencies to build trauma-informed best practices for disaster management in the context of domestic violence, and are based on both research and practitioner evidence.
