DISASTER & DOMESTIC VIOLENCE:
Toolkit For Domestic Violence Programs
The three tools below were developed in collaboration with the National Domestic Violence Hotline, the New Jersey Coalition for Battered Women, and the Florida Coalition Against Domestic Violence. The joint efforts of our organizations created these comprehensive materials for professional staff who support victims of domestic violence and who are seeking tools to enhance their disaster preparedness practices and protocols. They serve as tools for organizations to ensure trauma-informed best practices for disaster management in the context of domestic violence, and are based on both research and practitioner evidence.
